I changed to a blogger system from my wordpress system to simplify things. I can go crazy with Wordpress, but that's the problem I end up going crazy making my SITE look fancy with all these options but end up having NO content. So this time I'm going CONTENT crazy with a simple system.

by the way, I hit 100k miles on my car... yay. Once again, please do not take pictures while driving. It is dangerous and only professionals should do it. Do as I say and not as I do!!! (yes, I'm a hypocrite) =(

Ok. My car, a Mazda Protege5 has a 14.5 Gallon Fuel Tank. I knew I was running dangerously low when I filled up my tank the other day. But 14.7 Gallons?!?? Either my fuel tank expanded or this gas station's meter is NOT running right.

Ok, so at work today I got to talk Japanese again as a Japanese Patient came in (I work at an Ophthalmologist). Sadly, although I understood everything she said and asked, I stuttered along trying to look for the right words to speak... it was pretty sad. Although I'm pretty comfortable to listening as I watch Anime (currently Macross Frontier and Detective Conan) and reading (Japanese Photography Mags, and Nodame Cantabile) I definitely need more practice in the speaking department. I think I need to find a conversation partner, or better yet a Japanese girlfriend hahaha... hah... hah.... well, not funny I guess.

Well, in the end I did explain to her that her last appt at our office she only had an eye exam, and not measurements to get glasses, because she had come in to get prescriptions so she could get glasses. I was actually surprised myself that I understood the vocab for "exam" "measure" and other things that are medical related. The moral of the story? God is good. How in the world does God relate to this at all? Well, it just does =D

An old (we're all old now) high school friend of mine came to visit us Southern Californians from his high rise in New York (well, Jersey). Win, Jon and I ended up eating and drinking the night away talking about God, Life and the Universe... then at the end of the night Jon almost got us lost by driving AWAY from David's Hotel into Beverly Hills while reminiscing about stupid high school antics... hahah good old days... now we're just good and old. *snicker*

Was walking around in Little Tokyo and ran into a Buddhist Temple that was hidden behind an alley. Never knew they had one this elaborate in the middle of downtown little tokyo. Anyhow, I cautiously walked through the alley, came in front of the temple and prayed to God, Jehova, Creater of the Universe. Take THAT Buddha. =D
